Depending on your health goals, your consultation may require pathological testing such as serum blood and endocrine analysis, stool biomass analysis, stool antigen testing or hydrogen breath testing (SIBO). Please be advised that all pathological testing is conducted independently to your consultation. In the instance of stool testing, the Dave O’Brien team will assist in arranging authorisations for your samples to be analysed.
Please be advised Dave uses evidence based, scientific knowledge to assess biomarkers and symptoms in order to make correlations to existing health concerns and implement strategies to address underlying causes. Dave is legally unable to provide medical diagnosis or prescribe any medications. Within Australia, only a medical doctor is authorised to request blood testing. It is your responsibility to supply your pathology results to the Dave O’Brien team at least one week before your scheduled appointment. Failure to supply your results before your scheduled appointment may incur additional costs or forfeiture of any payments received. The cost of pathology testing is at the discretion of your primary health care provider. You may or may not be eligible for Medicare rebates.
Please be advised, Dave will likely recommend a supplementation protocol to run for the duration of your health journey. The supplementation program is a recommendation based on the evidence-based assessment of your pre-existing health state. These are not prescriptions and are to be sourced independently by the client. Costs of supplementation vary and are subject to fluctuations based on your location and choice of supplier. Dave is not affiliated with any brands, nor does he receive rebates or payment in any kind from the brands he recommends. You may be referred to a preferred local supplier if asked. Supplement availability may vary depending on your location. All supplement costs are separate to your consultation fees.
